Again and again, they have tortured me
My wounds are bleeding but my soul, they cannot seize.
Take away everything that makes me smile,
And surround me with everything that’s vile.
Make me walk on burning coal
Condemn me until it torments my soul.
Make me write on an endless reed
Make everyone believe that I’m a person full of greed.
And yet, I’ve surpassed each and every test
Pain and intrepidity made me the best.
Regardless of the scars on my skin,
I rise like a bamboo after the storm; I fly like a devil without a sin.
And as I look back in the past,
Its memories seem to last.
I send my gratitude to the majority,
Thank you for not having any pity.
And the marks of hell won’t go away,
No matter what I do, no matter what I say.
And this flame inside me just keeps on incinerating
And with that, I continue on loving and living.
Like the Lamia, I was discriminated.
Like the Leviathan’s manifestation, people were disgusted.
But here I am, a survivor of the haunting past,
My mind reiterates: “Outwit, Outsmart, and Outlast”.
